10CC in Holt

Weather forecast looking good for outdoor 10cc concert to close this years Holt festival.
Looking forward to hearing all those songs from the 70's.

A great night at 10CC concert, great songs, great musicians and lots of memories. Started with an accoustic session and then the real stuff. Rick Fenn made the guitar talk and Graham Gouldman still has what it takes. But performer of the night for me was Mick Wilson, What a voice and his version of the classic Donna was amazing.
The things we do for Love, Ime not in Love and Silly Love had the whole audience on their feet. In one word "Brilliant"

Rick Fenn and Graham Gouldman during the accoustic session.

This striking windpump offers stunning views over Horsey Mere and this mysterious broadland landscape, full of exceptional wildlife.

My stall at Weeting on Friday before being hit by a rogue mini whirlwind that damaged the roof of the gazebo and some canvas prints, also scattering my cards across the showground.

Three's Company

Three Norfolk Based Photographers showing their different styles of Photography.

Roger Kent and Mr Punch

Punch and Judy is a traditional, popular puppet show featuring the characters of Mr. Punch and his wife, Judy. The performance consists of a sequence of short scenes, each depicting an interaction between two characters.
The show is performed by a single puppeteer inside the booth, known since Victorian times as a "Professor" and assisted sometimes by a "Bottler", who corrals the audience outside the booth, introduces the performance and collects the money ("the bottle"). The Bottler might also play accompanying music or sound effects on a drum or guitar and engage in back chat with the puppets. In Victorian times the drum and pan pipes were the instruments of choice. Today, the audience is also encouraged to participate, calling out to the characters on the stage to warn them of danger, or clue them into what is going on behind their backs. Also nowadays most Professors work solo since the need for a bottler became less important when busking with the show gave way to paid engagements at private parties or public events.
